Destination Information
Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall

Also known as the Red Waterfall, Ulaan Tsutgalan is one of Central Mongolia’s most spectacular natural attractions. Located in Uvurkhangai Province, the waterfall is approximately 10 meters wide and drops 24 meters into a volcanic canyon surrounded by beautiful grasslands and rivers.

Tuvkhun Monastery

Located on Shireet Ulaan Mountain at an altitude of 2,268 meters, Tuvkhun Monastery was established in 1653 by Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, the first spiritual leader of Mongolian Buddhism. Visitors can enjoy a scenic 5 km hike through forests and mountain landscapes before reaching this peaceful spiritual retreat.

Ugii Lake

Ugii Lake is a beautiful freshwater lake in Arkhangai Province and an important Ramsar conservation site. Known for its rich birdlife and peaceful atmosphere, the lake is home to migratory waterbirds and offers a perfect setting for relaxation, nature photography, and cultural experiences.
