If you want to hike with locals, join the Eco Local Hiking Club

Hello,
I am a member of the Eco Hiking Club. Every Sunday morning, our club hikes to a mountain near Ulaanbaatar. There are four mountains surrounding Ulaanbaatar: Chingeltei, Bayanzurkh, Bogd, and Songinokhairkhan. At the top, we enjoy some Mongolian food and play the guitar to sing songs.

During the summer, our club members walk longer distances. We hike to places like Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Lake and Terkh Lake, traveling part of the way by car and part on foot. If you want to hike with us, feel free to contact me. Hikes are available in all four seasons.

• Warming and Preparation Before Hiking:
• When going to the mountains, prepare by bringing as many clothes as possible and disposable socks for changing.
• Pack daily food, snacks, and other necessary items.
• Children under the age of 16 should not be accompanied.
• It is forbidden to drink alcohol, smoke, or throw garbage on the mountain.
